Looking back at Emerald Ball

The last few weeks were intense and last week was no exception. I am so happy that I love what I do, otherwise everything could easily be too much, it was overwhelming but I also had a fabulous time.

I have been asked to co-host the first Live Ballroom Backstage Red Carpet event at Emerald Ball. I was excited and said yes but little did I know that we were live for a whole 45 min at a time – non stop – no commercial breaks like on regular TV. There was really not any script as well, so we had to deal with whatever happened at the moment. It was quite nerve-wrecking but also a great new experience.

The dresses I am wearing a part of my Babette Brown Couture line. The pink gown is from my Fall Hollywood Collection but the Black one is brand new and especially designed for this event. I have a couple of things in the works right now that I am very excited to reveal shortly.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it really means a lot to me.

I have been in Tampa Florida last week until Sunday to judge the Florida Superstars Dancesport Championships.

I had an amazing time, it was a gorgeous event with lots of beautiful dancing, an amazing ballroom and lots of friends. I loved it, especially Florida has a special place in my heart and I love visiting.

I was very proud to wear my own Babette Brown Couture, Collection and ReadyToWear pieces every day. Thank you all for the sweet comments about my outfits, it meant a lot to me.

I wish you a successful and happy start into the new week, thank you for visiting me here,

An Inspiring Week

Hello Everybody! I am back! Yay 🙂

Last week I have been invited to judge the Hollywood Dancesport Championships in Los Angeles, a very prestigious Ballroom Dance Competition organized by Michael Chapman, Mary Murphy and Jonathan Roberts.

We also had students from our studio competing and my husband Dmitry was filming his Ballroom Backstage episodes with Interviews and Insights about the competition and the dancers.

Everybody came back very inspired, and we are getting ready for our Showcase on Saturday, so no breaks for us but that’s OK.

I have been asked about my outfits by so many people at the competition, many of the items I wore were actually from my own collection I am developing. I am not quite ready to launch yet but I am getting there, if you want to have first dibs or want to be among the first to know, please sign up for my email list, it is the best way to connect to me.

I have also been told by people that they would love to shop my closet or style and this is exactly what you can do here on this blog – if you like something, just click on the links and it takes you to the place where you can find it and purchase it.

If you have any questions, please let me know, you can either contact me or simply comment on the posts, I will be happy to hear from you.
