THAT DRESS

Millennium 2021 – what an amazing event it was. And an amazing event needs a special dress. I got a lot of questions and comments about my gorgeous gown I have been wearing for the Saturday Evening Session.

Fun Fact – It needed it’s own suitcase to come with me to Orlando… lol. And I mean a big one all by itself! But a special occasion is well worth the little effort and I firmly believe that in life you need to celebrate all occasions and this dress is a very special one.

It is an Emil Couture creation from his “Decadence” collection. Emil says  β€œFor me, every dress must have a soul, given life by the women wearing my designs. There is a piece of my heart in everything I make.”

His dresses have been worn at the worlds most prestigious events such as the Oscars, Grammys and Emmy Awards.

I personally own a few of his beautiful gowns and they are some of my most cherished dresses in my closet and way too beautiful to only be worn one time.

2 weeks have passed since I came home from my last coaching trip… time flew… I was hoping this would be over soon but I guess not…

All of us dancers have been hit hard but one thing cannot be taken away and that is creativity. I love to create. From online dance classes to new dress designs to youtube videos and pictures. I have not stopped much. I just love creating.

This is a shoot I did all by myself. Just making some coffee and wearing my new dress for the occasion…

Happy Thursday!

It is June Gloom season in LA but when the sun is out all you want to do is go to the beach or pool. And I put a look book together for you to get you in the mood for summer. I love this time of the year!

Here is some inspiration for a relaxed summer day.

  1. Take a walk on the beach
  2. Have some delicious ice cream – my favorite flavor this season is Lavender-Honey (Jeni’s in Calabasas)
  3. Enjoy a glass of wine at sundown outdoors with a view
  4. Have a healthy and light summer salad for lunch
  5. Get yourself a pair of new sunglasses – you will see the world differently… πŸ˜‰
  6. Take your Yoga practice outside (Will Roger’s State Park is beautiful)
  7. Have a picnic with your favorite fresh food from a local farmer’s market
  8. Shop for a new Bikini or Swimsuit
  9. Redecorate your living room to make it feel cozy fresh and bright (it’s Peonie season….)
  10. Go see a movie outdoors in a park or on a roof top
