Staying Youthful with L’Occitane

A couple of weeks ago I turned 45…. time flies… I vividly remember my 30th Birthday, I had the same thought… “It’s not so bad..”.. And honestly it is not as long as you keep embracing changes as you go along and practice kindness – especially to yourself.

In my forties I felt the most significant changes so far – my body just feels different and has different needs than before. The same goes for my skin. It needs more care and attention than 15 years ago.

I was very excited to get the opportunity to work with L’Occitane and to review their newest products, The Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-in-Serum and the Immortelle Divine Cream.

I used the Overnight Reset Oil-in-Serum at nighttime. It helps the skin recover overnight from my everyday life. My skin felt irritated and dry and the serum was like a healing potion that made my skin feel smooth and soft again. My skin looked rested in the morning and it gives it a satin like and smooth finish.

For Daytime I used the Immortelle Divine Cream who helps fight visible signs of aging. It is a rich but lightweight cream that gets absorbed by the skin but leaves a youthful glow. It has a subtle herbal smell that relaxes and soothes when you apply it. My skin also feels plumper and fine lines have faded, producing a more even complexion.

I absolutely love both products, it really rescued my skin from dryness and irritation and made it feel soft, plump and glowing again.

Thank you so much to L’Occitane for bringing you this post,

Letting my hair down with Formulate

Today I am letting my hair down for you. Who knows me for a long time remembers me with black hair – it was a long way to become a blonde from that and finally now my hair is nice and long …

My natural hair color is brunette, I need to get my hair colored every month and I do have very fine hair. Not the ideal starting point for long blonde hair, I know, so I do have to be super extra careful.

So when I got approached by Formulate to become a launch partner for their new hair product I was intrigued and said yes right away.

A Shampoo & conditioner, perfectly engineered just for me – based on my characteristics, goals, lifestyle, and environment. And it is Preservative free – Sulfate free – Paraben free and Cruelty free.

When I moved from Florida to California a few years back, the first difference I felt right away was the change in climate, water and humidity.

As a result my hair started to get brittle and dry and broke off. I had to cut it back to a long bob and regrow my hair until it was nice and long again. Climate is definitely a huge factor and Formulate takes this into consideration.

So this is what they made for me:

I wanted Color Protection, Deep Conditioning, something to mend split ends, something anti frizz and something to make my hair glossy and shiny.

And voila – here it is – my own Shampoo and Conditioner – made specifically for me!

So if you are as excited and curious about it – I have great news – I have a GIVEAWAY for you!

Enter now and the winner will receive their very own Shampoo and Conditioner! Excited?

Then enter right here by clicking this link: (Open until 10/26/2018)
