Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I just arrived back in Los Angeles from Arizona a few hours ago and I can’t wait to share this super glam look from last night with you. We went to dinner and watched the Saturday Evening session at People’s Choice Dancesport Championships. I had so much fun with this look, all the drama of the hair and the red lips, it felt like old Hollywood.

For my hair I used a 1″ curling wand, I did not use any hairspray to let the hair fall more naturally.

If I wear red lips, I use less eye make up. Last night I only used Foundation, a light blush, highlighter under the eyebrows and a soft nude beige eye shadow. No Eyeliner, just Mascara.

Since I have a very light complexion, strong lip colors always create a lot of drama, but I still try to keep the look softer and not look harsh.

What are you doing this weekend? Any plans?

Thanks for stopping by,

Emerald Green Velvet Evening Gown by Babette Brown

I am baaaaaack! Last week I have been invited to be an adjudicator at the prestigious Emerald Ball in Los Angeles, one of the largest Ballroom Dance events in the USA. I had a fabulous time, barely saw daylight because I spent most of the time in the Ballroom and came home happy and inspired.

As you know, I love to design and make dresses, especially evening gowns – since it was for Emerald Ball I chose green of course. On Friday evening I wore the Velvet gown, a beautiful, simple cut that is molded to the body with a little trail in the back. I loved the simplicity of it.

On Saturday evening I wore my two piece dress. I loved the cut, a little less classical and encrusted in pink stones and pink crystal pearls – It was great to wear and I loved the glamour of it.

If you love my dresses too, they are for sale, all you have to do is CONTACT ME.

I hope you are having a great week, Thank you so much for stopping by,
