Feeling Pink…

We are at home for a while now and sometimes we can get a little bit of the blues… especially if you are like me and you love to give hugs…

For me the color pink has “HAPPY PLACE” written all over it, so I had a great time putting this Look Book together for you with my picks for what I would snuggle up in and use right now in quarantine.

Snuggle up in some cashmere, wear pink glasses, workout in pink sneakers, and indulge in some self care… sounds perfect to me.

I hope I can get you all a little inspiration with it. I miss you all very much.

Here are some Self Care Tips from me:

  1. Listen to lots of Motivational material on You Tube
  2. Browse Pinterest and work on your Inspiration Board
  3. Make your bed every day and clean up after yourself so your place stays neat and calm
  4. Practice Yoga daily
  5. Dance
  6. Work on daily Routines you can keep in your life that set you up for a successful day
  7. Declutter your home and closet – make some space, let something go
  8. Write a to do list every day
  9. Take a bath, use a face mask, pamper yourself
  10. Drink lots of water (I drink sparkly water with lemon)

Coffee…

2 weeks have passed since I came home from my last coaching trip… time flew… I was hoping this would be over soon but I guess not…

All of us dancers have been hit hard but one thing cannot be taken away and that is creativity. I love to create. From online dance classes to new dress designs to youtube videos and pictures. I have not stopped much. I just love creating.

This is a shoot I did all by myself. Just making some coffee and wearing my new dress for the occasion…

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays -whatever you are celebrating – and even if you don’t – for whatever reason. This time of the year everything slows down, you spend time with friends and loved ones. But you are also facing the inevitable, which is another year nearing its end.

This is a time to reflect and regroup. To look back and learn, and to plan and look forward to what comes next. There is a Japanese word I like (now, I do not speak Japanese – I saw it on Pinterest – and loved the description) – the word is “ukiyo”. The description is “living in the moment – detached from the bothers of life”.

What I took from that word is, that life is never 100% perfect. We are constantly developing, life and the surroundings are in constant change. For me it means the art of enjoying a moment. To chose a positive emotion over the natural sentimentality of the past and fear of the future. It is the art of giving yourself, and your mind a break. And it means the art of creating your own, beautiful reality. Life is what you make of it. And it starts with your thoughts.
