It has been an amazing week and so busy that I only manage to do my first post about New York today. I had the amazing opportunity to attend New York Fashion Week and to be backstage for the prep with the Sebastian Professionals. It was very inspiring and I am already looking forward to Summer 2018 – I already have a wishlist for next year.

Since it is already coming up for fall and the weather was a little cooler than in LA, I chose to wear one of my new fall looks. Velvet is definitely one of my obsessions, I decided to wear an emerald green pencil skirt out of my own collection with a navy blue silk blouse, a black leather jacket with ruffle trims and a pair of black Valentino shoes. I tied it together with light pink nail polish and my beloved pink Micheal Kors bag – I love this bag and I keep wearing it a lot – but it is getting older so I guess I am in the market for a new handbag soon…

I hope your week was as amazing as well, except for my friends in Florida who dealt with Hurricane Irma. I kept everyone in my prayers.

Thanks for stopping by, I will post much more about NYFW soon.

We had a lot of fun in Arizona and I enjoyed the extra day to myself tremendously yesterday – today I was back in my studio and as usual – on the first day back there is lots and lots to do. Yes it’s true, the world keeps turning when you are not there but – boy –  do things accumulate.

I got al lot done today – lots of things checked off my list – and I still managed to squeeze in a little photo shoot to share today’s outfit with you. I love the blouse – it has such cute ruffles and it is such a great, soft satin material. I have it in grey as well and I love the look for business or going to work.

I hope you all had a great tuesday,

Happy Friday,

the weather is finally gorgeous  and I was in the mood for Ruffles and Flowers today. Being back from my Florida trip I definitely got inspired by the Palm Beaches, one of my favorite places on earth, I lived there for nearly 10 years and I still feel this place is like home, besides Austria, Europe, where I was born and LA, where I live.

I found the perfect Ruffle Top  at the Blush Boutique in Encino – they are located right next to our dance studio and carry adorable women’s clothes from casual to cute. I combined my new find with my new skirt I got on my recent trip to Las Vegas last month and voila – Ruffles and Flowers it is…

Have a great weekend  xoxo BB
