I put a Look Book together for you on what to pack on a Weekend Getaway. Now I have to admit, I always pack more than I need, my suitcase is the same size for a weekend as it is for a two week vacation. But I am working on it and here is some inspiration for you. That’s what I would pack for myself – a cozy sweater and Jeans for the airplane, shorts and a T-shirt to go exploring, a cute swimsuit and cover up and a versatile dress that can go from casual to glam in no time.

How is your week going so far? We are having “Emerald Ball Week” here in LA, that is a big Ballroom Dance Competition and we are busy with our students and Professionals dancing. Lots to do but also a lot of fun and very inspiring. If you are interested you can go and watch Ballroom Backstage where you can see what is going on behind the scenes, on the red carpet and more, I will be co hosting the Saturday evening Live session.

Cool Designer Pieces for Spring

How is your week going so far? I hope well but just in case I will send you  some extra motivation with how to pick up some positive energy and keep going strong:

  1. Accept where you are at the moment. Notice how you feel and do not judge yourself.
  2. Make goals – start with small ones, word them positive and make them only about yourself and what you can control
  3. Practice Meditation
  4. Practice Gratitude, make an effort to notice all the little positive things happening around you.
  5. Smile
  6. Dress in something that makes you feel good about yourself.
  7. Get some exercise
  8. Don’t sweat the small stuff

Workout Inspiration

Happy Weekend!

The weather is AMAZING! Time to get out and about and active! Here is some Workout Inspiration for you, if you are like me and find it hard to get started.

  1. Give yourself a Reward afterwards. That might work for me actually. Except that that reward I would pick could easily be desert…. oops
  2. Sign a Commitment contract and fine yourself $20 each time you miss. Well, I don’t think that would turn out well in my case. I would forgive myself too easy for skipping and save all the twenties and use them reward myself after a few days….lol… bad idea for me.
  3. Positive Thinking. I love that idea, if I visualize my goals, how I will feel like or look like afterwards, I would actually get motivated. It works kind of like a reward in a way. And I always believe in positive thinking.
  4. Find your Fitness Tribe. This could work… – but I can be quite an individualist so probably the best way would be a coach or a class.
  5. Get a new outfit. Works like clockwork for me but is really short lived since as soon as I have worn it a few times I will need another one… but then – that’s ok too – lol
  6. Dance. It’s the best workout anyway and it is so much more fun!
